The 2008 Beijing China Summer Olympics Men's Marathon will be held on August 23, 2008. Brian Sell, a member of the Hansons-Brooks Distance Project team, will be competing in the event. Aruba Sport is a proud sponsor of the Hansons-Brooks Distance Project and Brian Sell. Currently we are signed on to sponsor the Hansons-Brooks Distance Project through 2012.

The Hansons-Brooks Distance Project (HDP) is a training facility for elite athletes who aspire to become the best in their field. The HDP is a structured program which provides an opportunity for distance runners to advance to the next level.  They work with successful college graduates in an environment where they can focus on training, rather than working full time or chasing funding.  Located in Rochester Hills, Michigan, the HDP provides jobs, housing, coaching and a center for athletes to train together.  The elite team currently consists of 25 men and women athletes from across the United States. In a statement, Kevin and Keith Hanson said, “The Aruba Sport product is extremely lightweight and flexible and the clarity of the lenses is superb.” In addition, the product is backed with a lifetime warranty.  We look forward to a long lasting relationship with Aruba Sport.”
